The course is a package of two individual courses. Topics that are duplicated in both courses enable the optimization of lecture time. In the package, both courses offer key and necessary competences in the areas of planning and development of information systems, analysis of business processes, optimization and digitization of business processes.

IT Architect

An information technology architect's job includes managing, planning, and executing various organization-wide technological components. These professionals play a key role in the big picture of a company's information technology security, compliance, and organization.

IT architects collaborate with top executives, along with technical and non-technical staff. Because most companies increasingly use computers and technology as part of their everyday operations, information technology architects can find employment opportunities across diverse industries and sectors.

As high-level, specialized professionals, IT architects need various soft and hard skills, including problem-solving, communication, and IT management.

The course is particularly suitable for managers, decision makers and managerial staff in IT, CIO of IT architects, and possibly also for other managerial staff, who are responsible for IT, but are not IT specialists.

Business Analytics

Data is an extremely valuable resource. But without study, it can’t be used to create a data-informed strategy. Business analytics helps organizations leverage data to make better, more informed decisions. This course is a basic introduction that lays out the foundations of analytics in an easy-to-understand and engaging manner.

Business analytics is a set of tasks, skills and techniques necessary to identify business needs, to find solutions to business problems and to find and realize business opportunities. It helps organizations in carrying out their business functions, processes and activities in order to reduce the total cost, more efficiently exploit resources and provide better customer support. One of the most important tasks of business analyst is to deal with requirements.

Prerequisites:

Required knowledge - have at least some basic general knowledge of IT concepts and of the architecture of information systems. Requested basic knowledge of networks, databases, information security, and general business skills.
