The program is built on the foundations of IT Architect, Business Analytics, and CompTIA Project+ methodologies.

Day 1: Introduction to Business Analysis and Project Management

Business Analysis Fundamentals

• Tools and concepts used by business analysts (RSG group)
• Impact and effectiveness of business analysis (BABOK)
• Measuring process efficiency (VSM, SIPOC, benchmarking)

Project Management in Business Analysis

• Role of business analyst in project work (BABOK + CompTIA)
• Basics of project management (CompTIA methodology)
• Project planning, execution, and control

Day 2: Core Business Analysis and IT Architecture

Core Business Analysis Competencies

• Reducing project risks through effective business analysis
• BABOK recommendations and core competency model (BACCM)
• Key competencies: analytical thinking, change management, soft skills, domain knowledge, and techniques

IT Architecture Concepts

• Designing IT architecture: principles and recommendations
• Architectural approaches and software architecture (Cloud Computing, Dataflow, Layered, Middleware, etc.)

Day 3: Advanced Practices and Integration

Advanced Business Analysis Practices

• Formal requirements and user stories (agile)
• Prioritizing requirements and managing them (BABOK)
• Waterfall vs. agile development, SCRUM basics

Project Management Essentials

• Critical path, WBS, risk management, resource estimation, cost control
• Key activities and documents in project management (CompTIA methodology)

Integration and Practical Application

• Integrating business analysis, project management, and IT architecture
• Hands-on exercises and case studies

Participants should have a basic understanding of information technology concepts. Prior knowledge of business analysis, project management, and IT architecture principles is recommended but not required.

This course does not offer certification. Certification is available for CompTIA Project+ and the BABOK methodology, which require more extensive and in-depth knowledge in these areas than is covered in this course.
